The Guardian (snow leopard)
Framed Original watercolour painting depicting a snow leopard blending into it's rocky surroundings.
Its thick fur, patterned with dark rosettes and spots, not only provides camouflage but also an air of otherworldly beauty. This physical allure has made it a central figure in Himalayan mythology, where it is often seen as a symbol of grace and power. The snow leopard's ability to thrive in such harsh environments has led to its portrayal as a mystical guardian of the mountains, watching over the vast expanses of snow and stone.
Snow Leopards live in the steep rocky mountain ranges of Central Asia. They have evolved and adapted to survive some of the harshest environments on Earth, including the Himalayas. Snow leopards face a multitude of threats to their survival and are considered an endangered species though much is being done to try and help their situation.
The painting is framed in a professionally made off white wood frame, mounted and glazed but can be sold unframed for ease of posting
