I studied Art & Design in Aberdeen and worked a short while in Graphic Design before taking time out of my career to raise a family.
I have been a self employed professional artist since 2006. My art practice changes constantly with new challenges. Using a consistant choice of subjects, I create and develop my art style in various mediums. In 2003 I attended stained glass classes to learn the traditional techniques of the craft. I continue to make glass art creations and panels. I use the offcuts of glass to make mosaics, this has been self taught.
Inspiration comes from many things and primarily horses feature a lot in all forms, this comes from a lifetime passion of all things equine. I am keenly interested in local heritage, history, natural history and environment, legend and lore.
Commissions are welcome contact me with enquiries, thankyou.
